Creating Confident Caregivers:
AAAWM, in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association and the Veterans Administration, is offering caregiving trainings.
What is the Creating Confident Caregivers Training:
The five week training is designed for caregivers helping take care of someone with dementia/memory loss. The care recipient must still reside at home and complimentary respite care is offered during the training sessions.
The training is designed to provide participants with information, and skill development to manage stress and behaviors and increase effective caregiving.
