Kent County Senior Millage FY 2024 Letter of Intent Now Available

The 2024 Kent County Senior Millage Funding Process

The Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan (AAAWM) will accept Letters of Intent for 2024 Kent County Senior Millage (KCSM) funds. The Kent County Senior Millage Letter of Intent will be released on February 1st, 2023, and the submission deadline is March 1st, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.

Letters of Intent are required for all new agencies, as well as for current millage-funded agencies who wish to add a new service in 2024.

There will be an informational meeting to answer any questions about the Letter of Intent process on, February 8, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. via Zoom. Questions can be submitted prior to the meeting to Sally Andreatta, SallyA@aaawm.org. Questions will not be answered outside of this meeting. 

Letters of Intent will be reviewed by the Kent County Millage Review Committee (KCMRC). Agencies will be notified by March 11, 2023 if they are permitted to complete a full proposal. Proposals will be due April 28th at 5:00 pm. Meetings with the KCMRC for proposers will be May 23rd - May 24th 2023.

AAAWM administers the KCSM on behalf of Kent County.
