Area Agencies on Aging Association Conference May 19- 20

The Area Agencies on Aging Association of Michigan is presenting their 29th Annual Conference in East Lansing, Michigan on May 19 and 20, 2016 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conferencing Center. This year’s conference theme will be “Creating the Future of Aging”.

The conference begins Thursday, May 19 at 8:00 a.m. with registration, exhibits, and a continental breakfast. The 9:00 a.m. keynote presentation “An Update from the Department of Health and Human Services” will be followed by workshops and a 12:30 luncheon presentation on “The Future of Aging”. The opening session on Friday morning will be “The View From DC” by policy expert and lobbyist Amy Gotwals, MLA.

For more information on the conference, including registration, and breakout session topics go to www.mi-seniors.net/annual_conference.html. The deadline is April 19, 2016 for early bird registration.

Continuing Education Credits are available for keynote presentations and workshops from the Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative, the State of Michigan for Nursing Home Administrations, and the Ohio Nurses Association. For more information, contact Mary Ablan at ablan@iserv.net
