Enhance Fitness

EnhanceFitness® is an hour long class that incorporates muscle strength, balance and mobility. Exercises are available at all fitness levels and is customized based on an individual’s needs and ability.

Who should attend:

  • Anyone who needs to manage the chronic diseases that are common to aging:  diabetes, high blood pressure, and arthritis
  • Anyone interested in improving their cardiovascular endurance, balance strength, and flexibility.
  • Anyone who wants to relieve their feelings of depression and/or anxiety.
  • Anyone who wants to have fun!

During three 1 hour weekly classes, participants:

  • Engage in a warm-up, cardiovascular endurance workout and cool-down, resistance strength training, flexibility stretches, and dynamic and static balance activities.
  • Learn to gradually increase their activity and work out at their own pace
  • Socialize with others
