May21Millage Provider Training: Reinventing Nonprofit Organizations to Create the Future of Our World

May 21st

11:45 a.m to 2:30 a.m.

The 2011 Senior Millage funding process will be a full proposal for the three year period 2011-2013.  Tax revenues are expected to decrease again for 2011.  This is an opportunity to talk about funding requests for 2011 outside the process time frame.  If you have new service ideas or service changes that you would like to be considered for 2011, it would be best to talk about it before the proposal process starts in July.

Also will be watching and discussing a dvd on reinventing nonprofit organizations. Hildy Gottlieb is the author of "The Pollyanna Principles" and she has been called "the most innovative and practical thinker in our sector."  As President of the Community-Driven Institute, her ground breaking work aims the Community Benefit Sector (name change from nonprofit organizations) at its highest potential - creating the future of our world.

Note: Parking is available under the building or in the outdoor ramp across the street. Parking vouchers will be distributed at the training.
